Muscle salmon (kinjake) have begun swimming up from Tenkyōgen. Because muscle salmon are poor at changing direction, they sometimes get stuck at bends and narrow places in the town's canals.
If you find a muscle salmon blocking the flow of a canal, please check how to remove it and the limits on taking fish home, then remove it. If several fish are stuck at once, or if the fish is near a sluice, a culvert or a waterfall, do not do the work yourself; tell your district's water warden.
| Limit (households) | One fish per household per week (no notification needed) |
|---|---|
| Limit (restaurants) | Three fish per registered restaurant per day |
Please do not judge from a muscle salmon's expression whether it needs help.
